Sizing & Care
Every Antares piece is made by hand in our Melbourne workshop, in your exact size. We offer half sizes, as well as sizes larger and smaller than the chart below.
Finding your size
1. Use the sizer that comes with your order. Every order includes an Antares ring sizer. If your ring arrives and the fit isn't right, send us an email and we'll organise a resize at no additional cost.
2. Measure at home. Wrap a strip of paper or string around the base of your finger, mark where it meets, and measure the length in millimetres. Match it to the chart below. Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are at their largest, and size to your widest knuckle if it's prominent.
3. Compare a ring you already own. Measure the inside diameter of a ring that fits the same finger and match it to the chart.

Antares sizes are based on US sizing. Between two sizes? Ask for the half size in the sizing note when you order, and we'll make it to fit.
Half sizes and custom sizes
Your design is created from scratch when you order it. Resizing and different size options are never an extra cost. Leave your size in the sizing note when you order, or email friends@antaresjewellery.com.au and we'll make it to fit.
Bangles
To find your bangle size, bring your thumb toward your little finger and measure around the widest part of your hand, then match it to the internal diameter below. Or measure a bangle you already own.

Cuffs
Cuffs are open at the back and, in solid silver, can be gently shaped for a comfortable fit. Sized to the internal diameter across the widest point.

Buying as a gift
The surest way is to borrow a ring they already wear and match it to the chart above. If that's not possible, size 6 to 7 often suits slimmer fingers and 9 to 10 broader hands. Whichever you choose, we'll resize it free if it's not quite right, and every order arrives with a ring sizer to make the new size easy to get exactly right.
The fit promise
Every order includes a ring sizer. Resizing is always free. Standard, non-personalised designs can be exchanged within 30 days. Every piece is covered by a 5-year warranty. If the fit isn't right, email us. We'll make sure your piece fits perfectly, made for a lifetime of wear.
Caring for your jewellery
Sterling silver. Sterling silver is a precious metal 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper (pure silver is too soft for jewellery). It can naturally react with air, moisture, sweat, and certain products, clean with the Antares polishing cloth to bring back its shine. Avoid abrasive brushes and harsh chemicals such as dishwashing liquid, chlorine or bleach.
9k gold. 9k gold is a precious metal, valued for its strength and warm, lasting colour. It will hold its shape beautifully through everyday wear. It can gradually react with air, moisture, sweat and certain products over time, so a gentle buff with the Antares polishing cloth will bring back its shine. Avoid abrasive brushes and harsh chemicals such as dishwashing liquid, chlorine or bleach.
Every piece. Your jewellery is made to last, so wear it with confidence. Store it in your Antares pouch, in a dry place away from direct sunlight. If it meets perfume or cosmetics, wash it gently with soapy water and dry it well.
Questions
How do I measure my ring size at home?
Wrap paper or string around the base of your finger, mark where it meets, and measure in millimetres. Match it to our chart. Or choose your closest size, use the sizer that arrives with your order, and we'll resize free.
Do you make half sizes?
Yes, and any size outside the chart, at no extra cost.
What if my ring doesn't fit?
Send us an email and we'll organise a resize at no additional cost. Post your piece back to us and we'll resize it in the workshop and send it straight back to you. You'll just need to cover the postage to reach us. Every order includes a ring sizer so we can get the new size exactly right.
How long will my piece take?
Each piece is made by hand in our Melbourne workshop. Allow 2 to 7 business days for your piece to be created before your order is dispatched.
